Synopsis:

Five misfit explorers are sent to the Planet Arus to find Voltron, a legendary mechanical warrior split into five robot lions by an ancient curse. They soon discover that there is more to the legend than they had believed as they find themselves under attack from the dreaded Drule Supremacy. Now it's up to the explorers to unearth the secrets of Voltron before it's too late. The discovery of an ancient war machine on a distant planet was supposed to tip the balance, but now the five explorers who found it have sworn allegiance to Planet Arus and Princess Allura, and to Voltron, the amazing robotic titan. But when the Galactic Alliance first raids the Planet Arus and steals Voltron and their military tries to replicate him in the formidable form of Vehicle Voltron - the five  members of the Voltron Force have no choice but undertake a secret mission and to return to Earth and reclaim what is theirs.
