Every year, the Giant Robot Appreciation Society, the Japanese animation club for The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, holds a free, one-day convention on the campus to promote Japanese animation. This year will be the 10-year anniversary! ^_^ We'll be doing director retrospectives on Katsuhiro Otomo, Mamoru Oshii, and Satoshi Kon, showcasing some of their lesser-known works. There will also be gaming rooms, cosplay, and other fun things. If you happen to be in the area, please drop by!

So does anyone live near Oklahoma City cause the Izumicon '09 is coming up in September and mend 2 of my friends will be attending.The '07 was great I went as Naruto. Anyway it's at the Reed Convention Center in Midwest City for anyone who wants to attend.

Anyone plan on going to Tekkoshocon this year? its in Pittsburgh PA. Im so used to not being able to go to conventions, (even the close ones) like NY cause of gas prices but finally one here only about 15 minutes away (i live outside Pittsburgh) its this march/april for 3 days. hope to see some of you there.
