my first anime was...well honestly cartoons like bugsbunny and that disney stuff is anime but for me about getting into real serious anime would be DBZ ...i think..idk XD too long ago to remember but i know that one was one of the first haha

My first animes were Sailor Moon and DBZ, I have to admit Pokemon was just a passing fancy for me. But the one that really got me into it was Ruroni Kenshin, I saw it on Adult swim a few times (literally I watched like four episodes) before I lost my satellite, and was instantly hooked.Love... is just a different kind of pain.

I was ten years old when they aired pokemon and dbz on regular tv in the morning before i went to school. I didn't realise what "anime" was until i started high school, it has pretty much exploded since then and i even draw quite a bit now with my otaku friends! i've also been learning japanese- it has been helpful working in japanese restaurants

Digimon, Pokemon, Inuyasha, and Ghost in the Shell were the first I watched.

When I was younger, I watched Dragon Ball, and I didn't really know it as anime, but just a cartoon (sorry for saying it!!! Don't kill me?) and then when I was in 6th grade I was introduced to Fruits Basket, then InuYasha, and then it branched out.

Man is it just me or is DBZ by far the most common first anime? I think a lot of people can say that they became otaku because of DBZ.Thank God for DBZ!! Oh I forgot about Dragon Ball... I guess that would be my technical first anime... oh well. Yea I would say that after watching DBZ I went to Sailor Moon, then Card Captor Sakura, and then Miyazi's stuff.(I know Pokemon technically is an anime but personally I don't count it as one...) Love... is just a different kind of pain.
