I need ideas or opinions for one last major thing in my Ghost in the Shell season script

After looking through my script over and over again, I noticed that there wasn't enough interaction between Motoko Kusanagi and Hatsumi Shinobi than I would like. I've kept coming back to the idea that Kusanagi and Shinobi would fight each other towards the end of the season, however something about that doesn't seem right. I want opinions on that idea or if you have ideas of your own of how Kusanagi and Shinobi could interact more, post them here in order to help me make my decision. Thanks.
