It's my dream to become one... I will even give up my life in America and move to Japan to do so, learn to speak and read a new language (Though hard). But I would rather just work for like Shonen Jump or something and work in America to make the Graphic Novels... I am pretty good at drawing, but I just want to know if anyone knows?

... is name of manga from anywhere outside of japan, it's also known as worldwidemanga.A number of manga publishing companys will publish OEL/worldwide manga,including:Del Ray, Tokyopop,Darkhorse Comics and Seven Seas.Just remember to draw the comic in the american panel placement format, in other words from left to right not the traditional japanese way of right to left.Basicly it will a graphic novel with manga style artwork, so keep that in mind.

Actually, Yes, an American can become manga artist. There are a couple of them out there, Bizenghast is written and drawn by an American, she lives in South Carolina. Just keep drawing and developing the story and characters until you feel comfortable submitting it to a company.

I dont have much friends anyway, but I will push for American artists to be Mangaa artists. Stan-Lee had to work with a Japaneese manga artist to make Ultimmo, so why couldnt he just do it himself. (Sorry, ment to reply to something else and forgot that I already commented on that... sorry)
