I just saw a trailer on tv for a live action Speed Racer movie. John Goodman is Speed Racer's dad. I didn't recognize anyone else in it. It appears to be fairly CG heavy.

i saw that when i saw about the live action dbz movie...there both going to be awsome.i hope racerx is there."people do not need violence to solve there problems."

You can't have a Speed Racer movie without Racer X.

yes. "Unbekownst to Speed Racer is that Racer X is actually his older brother who left home years ago to be the best racer. " or something like that was in the old Speed Racer intro on the anime, if I remember correctly.

AstroBoy is a good old one. like, REAL old one. I think Kikaider came out a while back as well, looks kinda like Speed Racer in style, but has more of a solid story to it.

basically you click the tress icon on comment then it will ask you to paste the url (you can't just uplaod from your own machine, but you can cut and paste the url of the pic.. I use google to find pic I want and just cut and past the url there) then most important click the input format bit under the comment box and click full html (Filter html won't show) and you can now paste a pic..

although the movie is mainly CG, it still looks like a good movie. I think that it would be funny if they put the old theme music in the new movie. HA! (not really)

They've probably already found The Next Big Thing In Music and had that band ( whoever they are, we'll know soon!) do a remake of the old music so it could be tucked in there somewhere.

As the light doth fall the shadows will come to fight.

In the speed racer movie the car is the mach 6. This is wrong it is supposed to be the mach 5.

he used the mach 5 through out the whole movie. the only reason he used the mach 6 because he didnt have a car for the last race. u would know that if u watched the movie!

I'm not hating on Speed, just read some of my other posts on the topic. I was just saying that they are only expecting to barely break even on the movie. It didn't become a huge deal like they wanted it to be.I'm not going to trash a movie I haven't seen, I know better. 92% of the teenage population would be dead if Ambercrombie and Fitch or Hollister said it was uncool to breathe.

i'm actually was quite tempted to see it but i changed my mind everytime 'cause i had other stuff to do. but just looking at it, it looks really good. it is CGI heavy but to get stuff like that, they had to use it.  "I am Darkness, BWA HA HA HA HA!"
