I don't think petitions work. Some shows have come back due to fan response like Futurama and Inuyasha, but that is due more to marketing. With high sales in merchandise and dvds, companies get interested in the show and might choose to capitalize on it.

It deviates from the storyline early on. They keep some elements like Saya, David, the Chiropterans, but they also expand on it.

It's about two girls named nana o. and nana k. The show starts off with nana k graduating with her best friend junco from highschool after a tough breakup with an older man whose married. Then junco and nana K. enter an art school togeather and junco tells nana to try and not fall in love with the first person she sees which is shoji but she does then junco tells nana k that she is leaving to go to an art school in japan. In the 4th episode you meet nana O. she is a rock star highschool drop out whose mother abandonned her and the grandmother she is forced to live with critisizing her and is the girl friend of one of the guitar players in the band which is ren. that's all i know. i just started watching the show.
