Yea.. I just thought about it for a couple of months; What does Neon Genesis Evangelion really mean? Coz' Evangelion means something like, "Happy God" Or something like that.. xD But.. Anyone knows what it means? o_o

i read about this in wikipedia before so you can check it out for better explanation.. but it was something like... Shin Seiki Evangelion is the original japanese title wherein "Shin Seiki" meant something like new era and "Evangelion" means gospel or good news... but it said the decision to call it that way in english was not made by the translators and it was only because "it sounds complicated".. lollike i said you can search it in wikipedia and you'll find there a discussion on the anime's title.. ^_^~Crescent"..people get lonely coz they build walls instead of bridges..."

Evangelion I think is a
Evangelion I think is a corruption of Euaggelion which comes from Christiantiy meaning "the good news [as heralded by angels]" and neon genesis is "new begnning." So basically this all ties into the theme of the apocalypse and the human instrumentality project.
i think
the who series is about exceptance. being happy with who you are. that's what i think because the last episode was an alternate path that shows them all excepting each other. what that's just my trake on it.'Yes I know I'm weird, and yes it is great fun.'
