Renji overall though because he loves Rukia dearly and he (sometimes) is not afraid to show true emotions. Ichigo on the other realizes at crunch time that his strength is not important when it comes to real life battles but it takes more strategy, smart, and wits (isn't that the same thing?) to overcome your opponent! He also learns that you can never under estimate your opponent and always watch out for his/ her spiritual power. Another thing about Ichigo that I love is that is willing to risk his life for his friends. There is not that many people who is willing to do that for a friend in the anime. but either way I still love Renji!!!!
