Guitar

Griffindork's picture

Ive had an Epiphone SG, Epiphone Les Pual, Ibanez Gio, and right nwo i have a Jackson Dinky. They were all left handed. Gibsons/epihones, Jacksons, and Ibanez's make up most of the major guitar makers. The guitar you get majorly depends on first, Personal preference. Like they way they feel when u play it, the neck width and thickness. Theres also string gauge, string hieght and a few others but you wont have to worry about them until youve played for a while. another major part of picking a guitar is what kind of music you play. Jacksons are mostly shred gutiars for metal and that type of music, Gibson/epiphones are pretty much a wide range from blues, to rock, to country but not usually used in metal or death metal type stuff. Then Ibanez is kind of both in my opinion and have good set ups for a more wide range of stuff. the looks of the guitar dont affect the type of music its more the type of pickups and the playability of it that defines the type.I hope it helps, if you have any more questiosn i could narrow it down for you a bit more =)
