Does anyone have any idea when it is supposed to come out or even how far into production they are? it was annonced that dreamworks was making it on the anime news network but i haven't heard anything else about it. Anyone know anything?

I posted about this below. I think for now it's being penned by the guy who wrote the screenplay for Street Kings.(Jamie Moss) But my thing is will the Major be all goody goody for the general public, or will the fans and the new audience get to see the real hardcore Major we all love?
If it goes to production we probaly won't hear anything until this fall. But keep hitting Goggle News search for current information. I do.
