from what i've read from a anime related newsletter (via email) and imdb, the movie is based on the original Dragonball, so the only gohan you'll be seeing is grandpa gohan, and you won't be seeing much if anything from dragonball z.

it has piccolo as the main boss and the cast list is this:

Goku: Justin Chatwin

Roshi: Yun-Fat Chow

Bulma: Emmy Rossum

Chi-Chi: Jamie Chung

Yamcha: Joon Park

Piccolo: James Marsters

Grandpa Gohan: Randall Duk Kim

as well as a few others

the date for the US release is April 8th 2009

it'll be released in japan first though.
