thalk about kenshin when he was a young boy and being saved by his master then leaveing his master and then the meaning about the cross on his face. and also when the cross dissapers. thats what the ova's talk about.

the first two ova trust and betrayal cover the kenshin's past as the hitokiri battousai during the bakumatsu, the ending days of the tokagawa shogunate. this is a part of the jinchu arc in the manga (the ending arc). reflections pretty much covers the entire series as well as providing an abbreviated version of kenshin's fight with yukishiro enishi. the samurai x movie is a stand alone picture. i don't think there are more besides the 3 season anime.
