I think it's a little weird how everything and everyone is in Karakura Town....I mean, I know that's where Ichigo and his friends live...but it's weird that that was also where Urahara and Yoruichi decided to hide out and then Isshin hides out there as well....(was it before or after Urahara and Yoruichi?). And then the last Quincy's were also in that town...I dunno....it's just one of those little things.

um, I don't think that's it either....the reason Grimjaw took those others with him was because they were weaker, but they listened to him over Aizen and they too wanted some action (I don't think they were gillians, either. They weren't Espada, but they were Arrancar....I think). I'm pretty sure that was mainly it. And I think the Hogyoku was what helped them evolve into Arrancars and gave them all more power. And like with everything else, some got more powerful than others.

 i was kind of wondering since it takes time for the hogyoku to awaken if the lower numbers were weaker and the later were stronger. the arrancar grimmjow took to the world of the living were gillian class and apparently the weakest of the gillian. so would the higher numbers be more advanced arrancar because the hogyoku is getting stronger?

In the demon world when it comes to numbers the Espada are from 1-9 correct is right

now as you should know that the espada increase there ranks by defeating the hire numbers than they are

but if they do not kill the one the defeated and that one in turn cannot or does not wish to contest back for the space between 1-9 the retire from the top and are given three digits and the act as privaron espada. the explanation is on bleach in the episode in which Ishida and Chad fight the two guys in the basement of Las Noches... where they switched there opponents to make an easy fight to match their skills.

it's actually 0-9....they never said 1-10, you just assume that. And if number 55 wanted to, then it could kill 36 and vice versa. They actually don't really have any rank after number 9. In a way their powers are mostly just at the same level; basically the numbers don't actually count after 9, they're just there to make an army and they obey the espada.

i don't think they have adressed that.  i'm not that far in the manga, but that's an interesting thought and question.
