Bash or Vash? Oh and something else.......

In the series Trigun The main character is called Bash or Vash in Different episodes I always hear Bash and not Vash but they sound simalure. Me and my friend always bicker over it and i want to prove him wrong.... is it Bash or Vash........ Oh and on a side note, type YAY if you think Bash or Vash's nuclear arm cannon, or angel arm is Badass!

if u remember from the
if u remember from the show there is an episode were vash is suppossed to protect a girl but it turns out she is a witness to july. they have a showdown in a power station were there is a human type thing called a plant. it runs the power station but it has no intelligence. that is what vash and knives are except for some reason they are self aware. they can eat human food, donuts are vash's fav food.

they're articfical lifeforms known as plants and they are the only ones to achieve intelligence. the angel arms are one of their power and i'm not sure why they are named angel arms.
