What's on your mind?

Who knows anything about? Are people willing to help? Do people actually care about it? These are the questions I want to raise about this subject becuase I believe the awareness of it is decreasing. So post here if you know anything and if you want to help people who have this disability.

I've actually got a form of autism called Aspergers.

so do i. it's a sod to live with. anyone who finds out that you've got it tends to stay away from you 'cause of it. it annoys me when i meet people like that. i met a lot of arse holes like that back in secondary school

same here. do you think that the awareness of it is decreasing? how has your life been with your autism? has it been good? or just horrible and difficult where no one is prepared to listen?  "I am Darkness, BWA HA HA HA HA!"

Well actually my autism isn't too bad to where it limits me. Some things are hard but i am finding help and support from others with Aspergers.

ah, i have that as well. it's a sod for me to get hgelp like that though. i did back in secondary school, but in uni, i don't know a single soul who has aspergers syndrome. so i'm alone really lol  "I am Darkness, BWA HA HA HA HA!"

 I run every year for autism but i know to treat the people it affects like people not the dissibility that efflicts them I have 5 cousins with it donate $100 a year for them so YeahKING KITTAN GIGA DRILL BRAKE!!!!!!

lack of motivation(but thats A DIFFERENT STORY)i no peolple and have heard stories of people who live just fine with their problems i mean dont think of it as a problem but an obstacle 2 overcome dont let it weigh u down.

but 4 real thinking of it as a problem and not something thats just part of ur everyday life will definitely make it weigh more

in all fairness, if i didn't have this disability, i would do better in life and i swear that i would get better grades and understand things a lot better. and plus be more independent

there's never been enough awareness for it. nobody takes the time to read up on it. Wikipedia gives a good discription and there are links to support sites there too
