☆Death Note is by Tsugumi Obata from Japan.☆There is 12 volumes with 108 chapters.☆Main characters are: Light Yagami, L, Misa Amane, Mello, Near and Teru Mikami. Ryuk, Remu and Sidoh are main characters who is shinigami (Death Gods)That is kind of basic stuff I think XD

the Basic idea of it is a Shinigami (death god) drops a notebook into the human Realm called the Death note and a guy named Light yagami picks it up. the power of the death note is that whoevers name is written it is dies. It has a much deeper storyline than that of course, i really suggest watching the anime or buying the manga, they are truly great in my eyes. "Don't doubt the darkness, it can be your enemy as well as your friend."

Death Note is great, I just broke down and watched the rest of the series with subs. That was a good ending, but poor Light. :("Those who live in darkness wander aimlessly."

I watched the end of Death Note 2, but not with subs i hate those things, but it is a real shame what happened ro Light, but it just had to be done, he wuz going 2 far, that's all i am going to say don't want to spiol it.

death note is really good. im so in love with it.dont ask. u should read it or watch it. like other pple comment said about basic info. i read 12 books [volumes] only in 6 days. 0_o:]

i kinda did the same, i got volumes 1 and 2 form borders then 3, 4, 9, and 10 in a half priced book store. i read 1-4 in about 2 1/2 days and i got 5 and 6 coming from ebay ^.^ jsut need 7,8,11, and 12 >.< so far i am in love with em as you have said, ive been watching the anime for some time and love that as well. I couldnt help myself when the lvie action movie came to the US, then i got the 2nd one from eBay lol "Don't doubt the darkness, it can be your enemy as well as your friend."
