I think he would have to have a lot more experience and be a lot more mature, as he is I don't think he is mentally old enough or skillful enough. As it is (though I love the character) quite often he just blusters through things and the others around him do the thinking for him thats not Gotei 13 material, and Aizen requires his subordinates to think for themselves abit so while Ichigo might be strong enough he's not smart enough (sorry Ichigo!).
