tokko second season reply
they probably will make a second series because, not to be stereotypical the japanese are notorious for killing off the main character. lol

awww come on.
the manga is on hiatus so
i just heard about it
for the interest of it, i was watching the 3 dvd of tokko and decided to watch the extras (the making of tokko) and found out about there being a second season (hunter edition).
according to amazon the japanese version was a limited release.
i do hope that manga entertainment decides to dub and release it.
it is such a cool anime.
also if they were to dub and release it, that they keep the same cast as the first series.
also from the look of amazon, one of the images shown a boxset with around 5 dvds(didn't count them)
they didn't have any info other then what i stated so i don't know much about it.
YES! Tokko was awesome!

i've been contemplating the
i've been contemplating the thought of if it would have been good for a season two and come to think of it, it would be a risk thing (i forgot the exact word i wanted to use).
shakugan no shana II proved that. plus with the series following only three mangas there would probably be alot of fillers to add to the series.. either that or it would be a very short season two.
as i was saying on how shakugan no shana II proved tht it would be a risk is this.
(for those who hadn't seen the second season of shakugan no shana) that that since the main story was already told (the relationships between characters), the second season started off slow with very little battle and hardly noticeable story development. it began to get a little hard to bare for some fans. it was only aftre the story began to pick up again that it started to get interesting.
the same can go with tokko, only it might be too many fight scenes that it'd get repedative and eventually a bit boring to where we start thinking, "okay, seen this before" and since they'd be working off of one manga that would be alot of fillers to put in just to make the season long enough.
i guess they could always have made the second season into a OVA. atleast then i guess we wouldn't be left hanging.
it might just be one or two OVAs though.
but having it unconclusive makes it good too because then we can decide what should happen in the anime.
we can say this is how it should've/might've ended if a second season was made.
I don't think there's going
I don't think there's going to be a Season 2. Tokko is based on a manga that's only three volumes long, and from what I understand the anime covers the first two volumes. The third volume apparently switches the focus to the two demon hunters that turned up towards the end of the anime. Soooo.. yeah. I don't think we'll be getting a second season.
The manga's coming out soon though! Tokyopop's releasing the first volume in July I believe.

You just crushed pur
You just crushed pur hopes. The anime is set up perfectly for a secon season and you don't always have to have a Manga for a anime. I know a few series or even seasons that have not been based on a manga. In short we can still hope can't we?

Sure, we can always hope.

Yes we can. Just like I
Yes we can. Just like I believe that Spike survives the at the end of Cowboy Bebop.

haven't heard anything about it here, but loved the first season so i'll be watching and waiting to hear anything about it too.
