I just watched the first episode of Macross Fronter (fan-sub) and it is brilliant..

 

the graphics of course compare to the 1st version is much better. I'm so glad they made the story a bit more for the mature audience (Marcoss 7th was a bit childish）for me..

 

especially they have a character (singer of course) who's just a bit mean..
