ive finished watching the series and i was left feeling confused at the end.
what are those angels? are they divine or divinty sent by god to destroy mankind?
what was the phophecy of the dead ses scroll?
what is that figure on the cross with all those eyes?
is rei not human like the angels?
why did the fifth child harouka (i think) want to die?
and what does the word lilthum mean?

the prophecy of the dead sea scrolls is that the angels need to be destroyed in order for mankind to evolve. the figure on the cross is one of the angels, lilith i think (adam is fused with gendo if you saw the movie). rei is a clone for the dummy plug system and is a angel. kawrou wanted to die i guess because he liked shinji or something if you see the death and rebirth movie i think they explain it well when they get to his clips. lilith is like eve so lilium is her children or us.theres another forum on meaning so you can check that out.

i feel your pain i love manga with all my heart but unlike you i could not really get into the story it was the show had abrutely stopped show so i went online and found out the evagaline show has been showing since 1994damn it all to hell!!!

im a lil disappointed i dont have the whole set of evangelion :( i was told by the lady at the store where i bought the anime that it included the entire collection. However she was wrong, damm b****h ... im sure it was an acident though she probably thought it was the whole set aw well.
so i got the series 1 - 26 and the movie; death and rebirth of evangelion but i dont have movie end of evangelion
i only have the 2 movies.
