did manga stop making films...?


the first manga film i saw was akira an i fell in love with anime then i saw fist of the north star,wicked city,legend of the over fiend,gun jack,vampire hunter d an afew others i cant rember.My question is all these movies came out wen i was a kid an growing up i figured there would be lots more crazy violent adventures to be seen but i havent seen any or at least i cant seem to find them so i guess what i wanna know is why arnt there so many violent anime films being made anymore an judgeing from the films ive listed what else do you guys think i would like.ps i recently saw elfin leid but its not a film an im downloading vampire wars.

they didn't stop, deadspace and strait jacket are manga films and they were released within the last year. they still release anime like gurren lagann and gundam 00.

Black Jack is a newer one that they just came out with that was really good.
