i havnt watched many anime series but ive been hooked to anime since watching the fullmetal alchemist. im currently watching fullmetal panic but i am unsure what to watch next? i was thinking evangelion? could anybody drop in a couple of names or suggestions thanks ( ive seen ghost in the shell the movie but itdidnt really hit me like i thought it would, so i dont think the series would do it for me)

Appleseed (any of the movies), Akira, Blue Submarine No. 6, Blood the Last Vampire, Castle in the Sky, Cowboy Bebop the movie, Escaflowne, Inuyasha (there are 4 movies), Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell (2 movies), Metropolis,Princess Mononokke, Spirited Away, Sword for Truth.Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Ghost in the Shell the
Ghost in the Shell the series has a much different feel to it than the movie. You should at least give it a try. Try Inuyasha, Samurai X/Ruroni Kenshin, or Tenjho Tenge. those are all really good series. Evangelion is good (a classic), but it can get kinda heavy and hard to understand at times. just look at some of the posts about favorites and you will get an idea of where to go next with your viewing.
