Why do anime/manga characters have to look so flawless and beautiful?!?!? i mean it depends on who draws them of course.. but i have come across a lot of anime/manga that you can just go head over heels for... it makes u inspired to draw really good, or just fall in love with their artwork..... since i can't draw.. at all.. * i stick with stick figures and 1st grade artwork* idk.. well that's my thought of the day.. this freaken late :D PS:uhhhh.... you guys don't have to reply back, this is kind of a stupid thread XD

there are different styles
there are different styles but for the most part anime does have unrealistic standards of beauty. there are people who look average or ugly in anime but they'd mostly be villains. heroes are probably supossed to be beautiful to show they are pure of heart and villains are ugly because their evil nature is consuming and twisting them. i wish people were as beautiful as drawings sometimes... *sigh... but i gotta admit they exaggerate on the females, nowadays, their boobs are like GINORMOUS.. like i was watching Chibi Vampire.. and the girl is like 16 and her boobs are GINORMOUS!! bleh.. since i'm a girl that stuff doesn't interest me... i mean wtf?!?! who's boobs are THAT big in real life.....
