Someone NAME THAT MANGA!!!

I used to have a large collection of manga titles on VHS. I had one in particular I used to watch a lot. I taped it from the sci-fi channel and missed the beginning so never knew the title. It is kind of a post apocalyptic based manga. and people scavenge around for android / robot parts. I think I remember there being a teenage character as the main guy and maybe his little sister or brother? I know this is far fetched but it has been so long since I have seen it. If any of you know what it could be or have any ideas please let me know so I can look it up.
