What kind of stuff do you like to watch? Like do you prefer violence, vampires, futuristic (spelling?), magical girls, mecha, sci fi? if theres something you like in a particular genre then you can probably find it in an anime. I've recently seen Akira though I thought that it was really good. Hope this helps you out. In life theres no such thing as black and white its all grey.

I started watching Gantz, with a skeptical view. I was totally surprised. It is actually really good. The plot lacks a little but good animation and characters.
