Great news. We've been working double-duty here at Manga.com to bring you a slew of new awesome things to do on the site. And now the wait is over. Check. It. Out. Welcome to Manga Corps. As part of our community, you can create a personal profile, choose a Manga character for your avatar (as well as upload your own), chat with other like-minded otaku about all things Manga, and more.

My Manga
We've built in space for every user to introduce themselves to other anime fans. On My Manga, tell the world all about you, your favorites in anime, and anything else! We've created some great avatars to use in your profile, or you can upload one for yourself.

Buddy Lists
Keep track of your Manga.com friends by adding them to your buddy list. You'll be the first to know when your buddy has uploaded a cool new avatar or posted something absolutely RIDICULOUS in the forums.

Points
Your work in the Manga corps will be rewarded. The activity you generate through posts and enlisting your friends into the Manga corps will be tracked. The more recruits you enlist, the higher your rank will be. From exclusive content to cool merchandise, the higher your rank, the more benefits you get. That's right, as part of the Corps, you get paid and what better payment than the stuff we Otakus dig: exclusive stuff to make your friends jealous. ^_^. Start today as a recruit and make your way to the coveted role of a Otaku God!

So get started creating your profile, picking an avatar, posting to forums, and earning points. And we've only just begun...stay tuned to Manga.com for even more features like checking out what's new in BOOK Manga!

hi just new to the site but really loving it a big fan of manga and like the forums too its nice that you can get to see whats happering and talk to ppl that are interested about the same stuff as you.i'm 21 f and some ppl say im sad that i like animate but i dont give a f*&$ this is my hobbi ....but what do you think ...sad or not ?

thanks and yeah deffo but ive got used to lol but its still nice to have someone interested in the same thing :D and love the picture too i love ghost in the shell got some on the series ones 1and 2 need the otheres lol and then the next ones too

well I'm 26F and I got two ikea bookshelves filled with comics (drive my mom crazy everytime I moved my dorm in university) still manga is great, and I won't stoppppppp

A dvd might be a little much ( it would be nice), but digital stuff like backgrounds or pics or exclusive avatars or something like that wouldn't be that hard to do ( shouldn't be that hard anyway).

-Alf-Aries-Sani mean the size of the MANGA EMPIRE...u think they can't afford to give back to the people who made them what they are now? lol a dvd to them cost like $1 and they sell it and like $30....they could give us users on here a good lil freebie for keeping their community alive!

A good feature would be to have clans like a Green Clan, Red Clan, Blue Clan and etc and we should do like little trivias or internet missions to make the website more interesting.

When you begin to get really high points, you'll get free stuff sent in the mail! You can check out to see if you have them in "My Manga". They will show up below "Manage Buddies" and everything up there. If you'd like, you can look at my profile to see what you can earn! (The best one is when you get 3000 points you'll get a free DVD!)

well, it's okfor you guys, you live in the US, you can getc all the benefits iver there easily, but for me, it's a right sod 'cause i live in the UK. i was only lucky last time when i got my goodies from here.  "I am Darkness, BWA HA HA HA HA!"
