I haven't read it yet but it sounds weird. Historical figures like Joan of Arc, Rasputin and Nobunaga when they supposedly died are taken to another realm were two waring factions try to recruit them to fight for their side. This world is inhabited by fantasy creatures like elves, hobbits, and wizards. Kouta Hirano is the author of Hellsing and Hellsing the Dawn.
