I got a code from a Dr. Pepper soda cap and it gave me a one month free subscription to Marvel.com's digital comics. I've been reading some of the Capitan America comics, I like Operation Zero Point. Capitan America went to free a scientist who was captured by the Nazis and he was developing flying saucers, or foo-fighters. It was pretty good.
I've also read 1602:
I've also read 1602: Fantastick Four and Iron Man. I have the original 1602 and Fantastick Four carries on the story. It takes place in 1602 and the superheroes are there. The fantastic 4 are sailors on the Fantastick and they chase doctor doom's counterpart to the edge of the world and arrive at atlantis. i like the original 1602, magneto is a high inquisitor during the spainish inquisition and he searches for 'witch breed' (mutants).
some spoilers from Civil War arc.
1602: New World, Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, Civil War are also good. In the Marvel Civil War, I think I'd go with Cpt. America's anti-registration side. I could see were Iron man and Mr. Fantastic were trying to go but they went about it the wrong way. Also, the 50 state initiative while a good idea cheapens their cause. Many of the new heroes are just knock offs of old ones like U.S. agent. So besides cloning thor (thereby making him a homicidal maniac), enlisting the help of super villains (even going so far to provoke war with the Atlanteans by setting up the Green Goblin to shoot Namor and making a deal with the Kingpin),and building a prison in the negative zone (which can cause adverse effects on people making some catatonic) I have little sympathy for the pro-registration side. Stark is moved by emotion and Richards is removed from humanity for the most part.
