they are both good but i like bleach more.

 deathnote is way better you might not get the varity of characters but you get a more complex story line and a better  villain. Deathnote is the BEST!!!!!!

 There is no anime/manga as great as Bleach, i've never seen a bad episode. the character designs are great, the animation is fluid, the american voices rock, the stories are always entertaining and the action is over the top.Deathnote sucks.I've tried watching it,it's stupid ,in fact Bleach shouldn't have to be in the same sentence as ....deathnote...

i used to LOVE deathnote but the last few episodes disipointed me so i stoped watching it!i really like bleach now!! plus adult swim only plays half the episodes than starts over!!

I think they are to different to compare. While both have Shinigami and deal in some fashion with the supernatural they are very different tales.

Bleach has stunning scope and killer characters. The care and development taken in making sure they all stand out and are unique makes the whole thing worth it.

Deathnote has a smaller cast but the story has wonderful depth and is pretty fast paced.

Both have unbelievably well thought out and surprising plot twists that keep one coming back. I do have to point out that with both if you miss eps it will be easy to lose your way.

My personal favorite is Bleach simply for the scope of the alt world created and the shear diversity of characters and story potential.

Bleach has more fighting than DeathNote, and the story is affirmative.

Oh my! I can't choose either because I haven't watched much of either. Bleach is good so far and I just can't get into Death Note like my momma can. I am trying to but I just can't force it. It would've been better if you said something about Devil May Cry!

and Bleach has alot more than Death Note. Bleach is going into season 6 while Death Note stoped at what season 2?

In my opinion, Death Note is way better than Bleach.

honestly for a while I was all for Death Note but my whole thing right now is Bleach though I am kinda like eh at the moment more so since I only really go with the manga for Bleach in which there was no new captain in the middle of the fighting the Espada saga... But I still go with Bleach.

Bleach is awesome and so is Death Note. If I had to choose though, I would choose Bleach mostly because the manga isn't finished yet.

I remember when I first time watched Death Note Episodes,I was completely hooked. My mouth remain opened. It's the mind blowing series. If you will watch it once, I'm sure you will also become its big fan as me.

I've watched them both but in that case points are going to Bleach because,Bleach is ongoing anime and Death Note is finished with no new episodes
