Someone else's insight on Vampire Hunter D & Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, good enough to buy or no?

I was thinking about buying Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, and I was wondering what people thought of them I've been researching them a little and wouldn't mind other peoples perspectives on them, in particular I'd heard about one of them having a possible rape scene??? That kind of stuff I find really stupid and pointless to have in a movie so if someone could please tell which that would be if its even true, I would really appreciate the help!

If u Can Find it get it, 'Bloodlust' is a Very good movie, it was one of the best dubs out there and the Action is just TOO BEAST! one of the best vampire movies out there! (Other than Hellsing Ova's) of course. lol *RUNS OUT THE ROOM*

somehow... sometime... and don't forget...to conjure up those both dvds....great viewing... a bit slow on the exciting parts but good story... follows through to the end... The path to conquest leaves nothing else to be desired!!!!

I've never seen Bloodlust I will have to check it out, but I have seen Vampire Hunter D and it was pretty good it's a classic to me ^_^

I finally got the Vampire Hunter D movies! and yes they are amazing I love them, you guys were right about them being a must buy especially for anyone who loves vamps as much as I do! both had there strong points but I kinda prefered Bloodlust especially the fights scenes Hahaha and I loved D's left hand although if were D and I wanted him to shut up I'd just poke him in the eye or something hahahahaha or clap my hands lol, dude it would be weird having that on your hand though... In life theres no such thing as black and white its all grey.
I think it depends on how big of a fan you are.

i just saw bloodlust it was good. i have a question, is d a dunpeal or a dhamphir? i swear in the book i bought they refer to halfbreeds as dhamphirbut in the movie they say dunpeal. i think it is a translation thing. anyways it had good voice acting and music. the fights are excellent. my fav characters were probably meier link and the bounty hunter girl. i thought bloodlust was better because i think it actually had a good story, plot. the music was better to and as far as i remember i dont think there was a rape scene or anything like it.i have the same problem with the whole dunpeal dhamphir thing to.
