I watched some of it but I wasn't too into it. I guess some of the characters turned me off on it and I can't stand afros but I guess I am a minority since a lot of people seem to like Afro Samurai.

i've never seen it. apparently kelly hu is one of the voice actors. she was the sorceress from the scorpion king and she was also in the game star wars kotor2. i think she also dated the singer from sr-71.

I wasn't really going to get it but I was in the store one day just looking around and I saw it there so I figured 'why not?' so I own both but I've only watched the first one, I have yet to watch the second one.  I thought it wasn't bad but it was hard to see at times and I thought it sucked that there were no subtitles, because half of the time I couldn't understand what the characters were saying lol. Anyway I would say that it wasn't bad but it takes a little getting used to. The style was a little rough and the scenes overall very dark and hard to see at times, plus there was little story. Very samuri type stuff, I guess. Fight, fight,little flash back here,  fight, little flash back there more fighting, blood, gore, yea oh and revenge, and some sex etc. lol that doesn't sound very nice does it?? Anyway worth a watch I guess but not... repeatable, in my opinion anyway. I'll stick with Hellsing, Vampire Knight, Bleach, etc sorry Afro fans.(Shit this is long...sorry lol)Love... is just a different kind of pain.
