I've been watching Tenchi
I've been watching Tenchi Muyo and it's got it's funny moments. I love how the characters interact and drive poor Tenchi nuts. Ryo-oki is also a hoot with her love of carrots

Try FLCL or Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo. Though I also dont like Bobobo what so ever, but its supposed to be funny.

Full Metal Panic! season 1 and 3 are really good kinda a mix of the serious and humorous, and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu is really funny. Love... is just a different kind of pain.

Chobits is really funny. it doesnt have that much action if your looking for that, but it really is funny and also Full metal panic also a really funny anime with good action and story line.

Hunter X Hunter is hella funny with a real good storyline, i suggest this with all my heart. Then there is YuYu Hakusho which has nice fighting with funny parts in it.
