I love Motoko because she is brilliant in combat and is very confident in her abilities as a woman and a field commander of Section 9. I also admire her strength being the only female on the team. Sometimes I think she has more to prove because she is a woman, but she does have the respect of the men. I also like Paz because he is street-smart,and Ishikawa because he can find info on just about anyone.
Kuze
i like the lughin man but he's just an idea really but i really like kuze hideoAnd Shepherds we shall be.For thee, my Lord, for thee.Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to theeAnd teeming with souls shall it ever be
hideo kuze is cool, i like
hideo kuze is cool, i like how is face doesn't move when he talks. it gives him a mysterious quality. "When the heavens do not bring forth justice, man must bring it upon himself to do so. That is the meaning of Jinchuu." -Enishi Yukishiro.
My favorite character is
My favorite character is Motoko Kusanagi, she is strong not just physically but mentally and she always leads her team the best way she can, they all have gret respect for her, and I also like Bato he's always there for her when she says she doesnt need his help ^_^ which is aways a good to have in their kind of society <3
the major
she is sexy and brilliant. "You know what you have to admire? A Catholic hit man who blesses himself just before he strangles someone."-George Carlin
also it is kind of nice to
also it is kind of nice to see a mature woman as a lead character. mostly main characters in anime are teenagers. i like how gits and moribito went away from that. "When the heavens do not bring forth justice, man must bring it upon himself to do so. That is the meaning of Jinchuu." -Enishi Yukishiro.
Never
Never seen it
it is a good show, it
it is a good show, it inspired the matrix. you can catch the re-runs on [as] not sure what time but it is before cowboy bebop. It is kind of intimidating so i'd recommend you watch the first film to put it all the stuff in context; i also think the movie is one of the best animes i've seen. "When the heavens do not bring forth justice, man must bring it upon himself to do so. That is the meaning of Jinchuu." -Enishi Yukishiro.
i'd say Botah
proably spelled his name wrong but the guy that used to be a ranger and has the silver eyes. the major relies on hima bunch and he kicks ass."We reconciled and then we embraced. And ever since then, we've been mortal enemies."
Motoko!!
She kicks @$$ in the movie and in the series."I love anime and manga! Also J-Rock!"
Seconded
She's hot and badass Hears voices in his head...probably due to his headphones.
Never watched it
I never really liked that anime for some reason. I don't know why; I just could not get into it.
ya it was hard for me to
ya it was hard for me to get into as well. i liked the second season better. if u gave it another try i'd either start there or watch the first movie. "When the heavens do not bring forth justice, man must bring it upon himself to do so. That is the meaning of Jinchuu." -Enishi Yukishiro.
I highly recommend it
It is somewhat difficult to get into, especially if you get caught in one of the episodes (SAC) where you're pretty much thrown into the middle of things. I think that the first season is kind of used to introduce people into GitS, where you are introduced to everyone and things are fairly mellow until you get about halfway into the main story. Season 2 (2nd Gig) has much more action in it, but it also requires you to keep track of what is really happening, although it isn't too hard. With 2nd Gig, you learn much more about Motoko Kusanagi and Saito primarily since Batou is relatively explained in the first season. The films (Not Solid State Society) actually take place in a different "reality" so to speak. The characters in the films are the same people in the anime, however the films and the anime have nothing to do with each other since some people believe that they do. I would suggest that you should start by watching some of both seasons (mainly the beginning) and maybe watch the first GitS film. That is if you want to give Ghost in the Shell another shot. "After a thousand battles, one only sees death!" -Chaos Space Marine Predator (Warhammer 40,000)
The sniper with the eye
The sniper with the eye patch cause he's an oxymoron......... Get it, he's a dead eye!"It's Time To Take A Dirt Nap!!" - Dead Leaves, #666
i think his name is saito,
i think his name is saito, i like his episode poker face in 2nd gig. it is one of my top fav episodes. "When the heavens do not bring forth justice, man must bring it upon himself to do so. That is the meaning of Jinchuu." -Enishi Yukishiro.
