Anime Genre

What is your favorite anime genre? I think I have found out recently that about 70% of my top favorite animes are Mecha, so I think that Mecha would be accurate for me. (You know like Gundam, Big O, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis Evanglation, etc) But what about you guys? Discuss?

I love all kinds of anime/manga, but a lot of my favorite ones are about mecha. Like Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Mobile Suit Gundam00, & Gurren Lagann.

I tend to judge what I like on the style of animation and story rather than genre. As I love everything from the humor of Shin Chan to the action of Bleach. But I disliked the animation of Virus as well as the story. Anyway you get the idea.

umm well i like the fantasy type anime geared toward war , anime who's story involes the gang type like the yakuza or the mafia, and maybe a little romance like please teacher. (yea im a guy don't judge me lol)
