the anime could've gone
the anime could've gone into her backstory more and maybe if she had powers. the thing that'll make or break this movie is if whether or not they were faithful to the original in order not to alienate old fans but to make it appeal to new ones as well. hopefully the cast is good and the special effects won't look cheesy. From what I understand it is directed from the same person who did Crounching Tiger Hidden Dragon,so some if not all of the anime elements should be there.

Well, i love blood the anime movie, so yeah i hope it well better then the movie :D. Also i hope the director dont make any changes to there names <.< like some animes movies i know.

I just saw it on Chiller. I was disappointed. The only sequence I liked were the ones lifted from the anime and I think there were too many Chiropterans in the action sequence with Saya and the girl; it was a little over the top. I think adding the character of Saya's mother added to the story so in thatway it might have actually been better then the anime.

the anime blood the last vampire was terrible, but the blood+ series was amazing! i hated both the live action and the last vampire

I loved the last vampire (anime) but felt it was waaaaaaaaaaay too short, I mean I got into it and poof! Over. and the live action flat out sucked, you couldn't pay me to watch it a second time.

Good Movie In my opinion...
I own it on DVD. Bought it as soon as I found out it existed and was on DVD. I never rented it before buying it so I took a chance on it. Normally I don't buy DVDs before I rent or at least watch them on YouTube, but with Blood I liked the original material enough that I did neither in this instance.
The movie was good overall. A bit weird, but still good.
Not quite as good as the show, but I'm sure a lot of people who liked Kill Bill or Crouching Tiger would enjoy it,as one of those famous "fight choreographers" did all the fight scenes. I forget his name at the moment though...No, not Yuen Woo-Ping, but still right around his level.
Reality only exists for people who haven't already created their own world(s)
