Japanese kimono or yukata?

Okay, if you ever went to Japan which outfit would you love to wear? Would you wear a kimono or a yukata? I would definantly wear a Yukata.

I think wearing a kimono that's beutiful is great to wear in japan. ^_^

Well I like kimonos but they are mostly used in ceremonies. You don't see people walking around in Kimonos unless they are geishas.

kimono but if I wear it in my town the people maythink that I am a karate man and they may try tofithe me,so for my safety better withaout kimono

If I saw one I would probably know, but off the top of my head I don't know what a Yukata is.

i'd agree with you murasametal...i mean who would want to fight someone who knows martial arts?  it would be  stupid cuz they might get beaten up

see at first i didn't exactly know what a yukata looked like, so i looked it up, and compared it to pics of kimonos.. it was always my dream to have a beautiful Kimono of my own made of silk and gold threads.... its just so graceful, beautiful, and elegant... and When i go to japan i wouldn't wear a Kimono cus i would stick out, myself being Turkish haha... but i would wear it in america!!!!! XD
