If you haven't read it yet, The Demon: Ororon is what you should go with!!! Or anything by Hakase Mizuki. You'll defintely be thanking yourself =P

I like Bizenghast, very good gothic like manga. Or Her Majesty's Dog. I'd have to dive into my archives and come up with some more.

I think the Grenadier graphic novel series is good. there are some great comedy moments in it. i can't wait until the anime series comes out for it.
