Ohayou!Welcome to Manga.com! As far as what software to use, all I can tell you is that my daughter uses PhotoShop and she does really well with it. She draws in a sketch book, scans them in, and inks & colors them on PhotoShop. She wants to do graphic arts as a career...but also she loves working with animals...which is why she mainly draws wolves & lions. Dewa Mata,Niji-Hana
