" Death Note " Anime series

Hi everyone...my fellow manga lovers. Joseph Von Bludd here. Does anyone watch " Death Note " ? I discovered it late night on Saturdays here in the Northeast ( Boston ) . I find it fascinating and I love and also relate and identify with the character Eluzaki ( I hope I spelled that right ) the plot at the moment is very contradictory. The main character I am not sure of his name I am still familiarizing myself with the cast is both chivilrous and diabolical. I watched last week and now there is a plot to kill Eluzaki and i'm cringing. I also don't understand the whole shinugami idea yet they are sort of Japanese demon gargoyles. Yet I guess it all boils down to the common sense notion we all have good and evil in us all. Anyone who would like to talk and perhaps make a friend which are precious and few these days I am open. We can talk on any subject of anime from the art to plot or the whole fantasy of it . I welcome all.... yours truly,J. Von Bludd

i love death note it's sad that L is really dead and Mello is really creepy but he needs to lay off the chocolet bars.

I, myself, have just discovered the wonder of Death Note! I was looking for something different to read and that just happened to pop out at me from the bookshelves in my local book store! I bought all 12 volumes plus volume 13 which is the "how to read" volume...any how, I've read volumes 1-9 so far! I'm working on 10 and I have been so impressed with it and the story line that I bought the DVDs via Amazon.com. I am not aware of a character named "Eluzaki" though. The main character, the one that uses the Death Note, is Light Yagami! I have fallen in love with this character! Ryuk, his shinigami, which is the death god, is one of the best characters as well, although he reminds me of Joker on drugs or something...lol... I'm fairly new to manga and this series as well but I learn quick and I am familiar with most of the plot and characters so if you have any questions and need anything cleared up I can try to help!

hell is my domain the grim reaper dares to mention my name for i am fear and i am death for i make even demons lose their breathif i record a name and that person diesit is to much of a fantasy for mine eyesi prefer the kill or to work towards your deaththe deathnote is just a fantasy with an animatic catch..... I watch Death Note each friday night. I compare it to a "CSI anime version". When I began to watch it, I was all confused but after a while, it makes sense. Altough I can't believe L is gone. He was my fav character. Light is also cool but he's .. kinda the bad guy.

I also love deathnote, i love all manga, when i first saw it, it was kind of cool. i even sang along with the beggining and end of the theme song. I love almost every character and so far i only missed 1 episode(sad) i really love it, its exciting and different than other manga. plus the characters are cute. (hehehehehehe)

well, i just finished reading the manga death note OMG i have never read a book in my life out of all honesty , until one day my bf brough the whole 12 books of death note i looked at it and thoguht well what ever its just another book, once i read 3 pages i couldnt put it down it draws you in so much you wished it was real in a way, anyways i recommend this to everyone on this site to read this book its the shit i love it and they need to make more like it lol

i just recently finished the manga of deathnote and cant help being upset about light. And misa she cant see the person she loves anymore. Not that light ever loved har but it is still sad when i think about it. When i first discovered this website i was only on the 6th book and now im finished withthe whole series , well except for the last two live action movies but everything else im completely done with. I even watched the bonus episode where you see the whole series and all the deleted scenes in only 3 hours total.Whoever has not watched the anime or read the manga you need to its a really great series. JUst dont get too into it or youll end up feeling the way I do right now. But witrh out deathnote my life is so boring. the darkness is pulling me inNeAr2.0

There are just too many other good anime stories out there to be obsessed with just one. So many other anime worlds to explore, main characters to enjoy and be crushed because they die, or anime girls to adore. People fear the strange and unusual. I AM the strange and unusual.

When i joined the site i was on about volume 3 or 4 as well and i was already falling in love with it, i picked up way before i finished the anime or the manga that light was gonna... well you know. And i kinda excepted it. I also felt pretty bad when L umm, you know haha. And just last night i pulled out volume twelve of Death Note and in that like last scene with the last kira worshipers with misa praying, i drew that for art class but a LOT bigger and with some dramatization on the shading since that is what we are working on in class. I also bought today Death note vol 13, the extra hwo to read thing along witht he Light novel, another note LA murder case or whatever it is, i hope it to be good. =)"Don't doubt the darkness, it can be your enemy as well as your friend."

Just about a week ago I stayed at a friends house and she had another note and i know isnt that great but i read it in 2 days. Its only a 175 page book but that is the fastest ive ever read a novel so its pretty great for me.If I never went there i probably wouldnt have read it yet.(If you have read then you should know who im talking about)BB(Beyond Birthday)is awesome. i know for a fact that they have the first two subbed online at liveanime.net and the first death note movie is supposed to be on dvd the 25th of september. "We stand in awe before that which cannot be seen"

first off L is awsome (was pissed when he died) but anyway ive seen every episodes sub and dub and i own all the death note volumes and i beleive this is a rly good anime but dont start in the middle of the show or you wont have a clue about whats going on

im a big deathnote fan!!! first of all its ryuzaki thats L's code nameand the japanese demon gargoyles are shinigami which mean gods of deaththe main character's name is raito and light in the dubs i hope you enjoy the series.. i should probably stop talking nowi might say spoilers..XD "blood isnt enough.."
