Cool. Just keep an open mind, sometimes you have to listen to them a few times to understand what it's about. I've been listening to them for 26 years and still pick stuff up. It changes meaning a little bit as you get older, but still remains meaningful. the top 5 PF albums ( or cds if you will, old habits die hard) are: The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon ( this one remained on the charts for over 20 years), Animals, Wish You Were Here, and A Momentary Lapse Of Reason. That is what I recommend starting with.

Dear, I have been dead once and come back, ( spinal meningitis as a baby. what makes it odd, I remember my mother taking me to the hospital, I was watching from above her shoulder.) SHOULD have been dead a second time and come back AGAIN. ( nearly lost my head to a steel cable while riding my four wheeler.) well thanks, dear. These days I really don't do too much to be put in any real danger. I have slowed down a bit in my advanced age. Now it's just the occasional drag race session or a ride on the motorcycle. Yes, motorcycles are notorious for killing people, but you have to look at the circumstances. More motorcycle deaths are reported from a car pulling in front of them than anything else. Not the motorcycle riders fault, the person in the car usually isn't paying attention. I have actually kicked cars in the drivers door because they were rying to merge into my lane while I was still there. I am in no way saying that there aren't motorcycle deaths due to stupidity on the riders part. I buried a friend this year because he was stupid for a minute.
