If you really want to know....
Then you should look this up on google, or even look up the history of manga. Really, manga is defined as (Japanese, yes) but a series of whimsical pictures. (With words as well, haha.) Peace, love, and rock and roll
Well...
Some would say that since Manga is a Japanese term (even though it's a loanword from English - Magazine) that it could only be japanese. There are however the same kinds of things made by authors around the world. Usually you can search for Graphic Novels to find what you are looking for if they want to try to be strict about Manga being only from Japan. My favorite graphic novel is Reality Check! written by the married couple that did the backgrounds for Invader Zim and one of those two did the english voice acting on that show for the character Gir.
I dont know?
